Anatalie Duncan-John

Anatalie Duncan-John has been working at Lloyds Banking Group for 19 years. Starting in the Branch Network as a Personal Account Manager. Reporting to the Head of Group Internal Audit for Strategic Programmes, she currently delivers the Group’s Bold Inclusivity Goals and Race Action Plan objectives. Initially, her career aspirations were in the performing arts, but she was ‘encouraged’ by her parents to study law, arguing that as a lawyer she would more than likely encounter a lot of drama in the courtroom. Anatalie initially completed an HND in Computer Science, followed by a BSC Hons Degree in Information Systems, at Brunel University. The degree was a sandwich course, which saw Anatalie’s first experience of redundancy, in her first placement but opened the door to a second one at the London Stock Exchange, as a Trainee Business Analyst.

Anatalie is an active mentor and coach. She believes strongly that having lived experience and learning from it, brings wisdom, colour and depth to one’s existence. No experience is ever wasted. One of her biggest achievements to date is being a supportive and caring mother to her 11 year old daughter.
