Kim Wasey


Revd Dr Kim Wasey is a Chaplain at the University of Salford and Assistant Priest at St Chrysostom’s, an inner-city Church of England parish in Manchester. She is also the mother of three young children.


Kim holds a doctorate from Birmingham University and prior to this, she read Theology at Manchester University before

training to be a Priest. She also holds an MPhil by research from Birmingham University on the radical, social and inclusive ministry of Anglo-Catholic slum priests in the nineteenth century. Kim has worked in various Church and Higher Education settings, as well as in teaching and mentoring. These contexts prompted her doctoral research into young women’s faith and she is a member of the Symposium on the Faith Lives of Women and Girls, based at the Queen's Foundation in Birmingham.
